Dr.
Richard Auchus, M.D., Ph.D. has
joined the DTR as the Interim Director.
Jennifer
Kohler has been named a 2009 Fellow of the
Alfred P. Sloan Foundation. The award is given each year to 118
early career scientists judged to "show the most outstanding promise of making fundamental
contributions to new knowledge". Dr. Kohleris one of 23 scientists
in
the field of chemistry who were honored this year. More information
is available on the Sloan website: www.sloan.org. Announcement of this
year's Sloan Fellows also appeared on page A11 of the Tuesday, February
17th issue, of the New York Times.
